Rock’s hydraulically liftable bogie, integrated in the chassis structure and equipped with a drive disconnection switch, is strong and has a very powerful lifting capacity. Its structural solution provides for very effective traction.

The truck must be practical and economical to use, even when unloaded. In Rock, the rear axle of the bogie drive can be lifted and the drive disconnected, which means that any unnecessary friction is eliminated, handling characteristics improved and fuel con-sumption reduced.

A cost-effective increase in payload is achieved for Rock by optimising the strength and weight ratios of the cargo platforms. There-fore, special weight-increasing structures are not required.
Maximum axle loads and compatibility of platforms with the purposes for which they are intended have been taken into account in the dimensioning of cargo platforms and positioning of the chassis.
